I Needed Campus Photos Today ...

... for a project I'm working on. I'd seen this class out my window and did a big circuitous route around them taking photos and this was the best shot. Yep, they really do have class out on the lawn on a pretty day -- just like in the brochures. There was even another class outside at the same time, but not in the same pastoral pose and setting as this one. You know, it's all about the photo op.


Would you like to have class here on a nice spring day?

And while I was at it, fired off a few more shots. Never took a picture of the mall from this angle before.

That really was the biggest disadvantage of being a science major - the professors required a large chalkboard on which to write equations. So while the lit classes were having great discussions outside, we were stuck in the classroom.

How come my schools never let us outside? How well I remember the almost physical pain at being indoors studying history or science on a beautiful June day.

And yes, that is a fabulous tree.
